Get involved
Waddle-on-Sea is the latest spectacular art event that will be winging its way across the city of Southend-on-Sea in the summer of 2025.
The trail will take place for more than six weeks across Southend-on-Sea encouraging you to be a tourist in your own home. Can you find them all?
Take a peek at the beaks
Our huddle of penguins will each be sponsored by local and national businesses and uniquely designed by an artist. After the trail the penguins will be auctioned off to raise vital funds for Havens Hospices and find their forever homes.
The large penguins will also be joined on the trail by huddles of small penguins, which are each designed by local schools and community groups, helping people of all ages and backgrounds enjoy art.
