Community & Learning Programme
Would your school or community group like to adopt a member of our huddle?
Integral to the trail will be our Community & Learning Programme, where baby penguins designed by schools, youth groups and community projects like you, will join the 30 giant penguins to form our spectacular art trail.
The baby penguin will be yours to decorate, so it will be completely unique, with its own design, personality, and named by you! They will be displayed together with the other baby penguins across Southend-on-Sea’s indoor public areas throughout July and August 2025. After the trail your baby penguin will wing its way back to you – its forever home!
It’s time to get creative to support Havens Hospices. If your school or group wants to be involved in an art project that will be waddling all across the city, get in touch.
